TACC General Meeting & Membership Party
We
all had a fabulous time at the TACC general meeting and membership
party on July 25 at the beautiful home of John and Lucia Hur. We
welcomed new board members Deepak Burman, Ge Chen, Ramey Ko, Michele
Tran, new Texas Asian Foundation president Alex Gonzales and new
executive director Yvonne Lim Wilson. We continued the tradition with
the passing of the gavel from all board members to Board Chair Jim
Yatsu, who is serving his second term. And we sent our best wishes and
fondest farewells to outgoing executive director Veronica Lee and
outgoing administrative assistant Danielle Hinson.
To
cap off the fun party, we kicked off our shoes and enjoyed a
heart-pumping Bollywood dance lesson from Bollywood Shake. Special
thanks to Ann Chan who provided pastries from her new bakery Lucky
Bakery, Foo Swasdee for her amazing cooking and delicious food from Get
Sum Dim Sum and Satay Restaurant, and Lucia and John Hur for their
gracious hospitality. We welcome all our new and existing members, and
we look forward to a bright year together!
