Join us for a sizzling Asian Food Fest organized by TACC in collaboration with the Texas Culinary Academy.
This multi-day event features cooking demonstrations and classes, "Meet the Chefs" opportunities, food and wine pairing dinner and the Iron Chef Cooking Competition.
Texas Culinary Academy is partnered with Le Cordon Blue of France to teach the culinary arts and to issue Le Cordon Blue certificates. For more info on TCA, visit their web site.
The Asian Food Fest on November 3-4th will offer diverse cooking demonstration classes for a flat rate of $20 per One-Day Pass that covers all classes and demos for each day. College Students just $10 per day!

Class II (noon to 1pm) - Basic Thai Cooking & Thai Ingredients taught by Dr. Foo Swasdee, chef and owner of the SATAY Restaurant.
Class III (1pm to 3pm) - Advanced Thai Cooking (Thai Appetizers) taught by Dr. Surachai Kim, a prominent guest chef visiting from Thailand. |

Class IV (10am to 11am) - French Cuisine wiht a Thai Twist taught by Chef Quincy Adams Erikson and Amuse Bouche from the Texas Culinary Academy.
Class V (11am to noon) - Sushi 101 "Basic and Advanced" Join us for a demonstration of Asian cooking techniques, presented by Chef Daniel from the Bistro 88 and Chef Steve Riad from the TOMO Restaurant.
Iron Chef Style Contest (11am to 12:30pm / Award Ceremony 12:45) - Competition will consist of 2 chefs, Dr. Kim (prominent Thai chef) versus Chef Chan (Chef Chan Tea House), each being helped by amateurs Chefs and by Texas Culinary Academy students. Award to be presented for both the wining professional and non-professional.
